Do guests have the entire property to themselves?

Yes, the registered guest and their party can enjoy the privacy of the entire home and property.  There is no sharing of amenities or parts of the property.

What is best about booking directly with Joule Stays?

We offer the best rates on joulestays.com without any booking or service fees.

What is your cancellation policy?

At time of booking, a deposit equivalent to your first night’s stay is required.  

  • Cancellations made within 30 days before arrival date: full refund
  • Cancellations made within 14 days before arrival date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made with less than 14 days before arrival date: no refund

Is there a cleaning fee?

Yes, in order to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for our guests, there is a cleaning fee applicable for every booking. 

Do you have house rules?

Yes, guests must review and agree to our house rules prior to booking a stay with us.  Unfortunately we must ask our guests to leave the property if there are any violations of our house rules.

What is the maximum occupancy allowed at the home?

The Come Awake Boho Farmhouse sleeps 6. 

Is there a minimum number of nights per stay?  Is there a maximum?

We require a 2-night or 3-night minimum stay (varies by property).  If you are interested in longer stays, please inquire with us. 

Can we invite friends and family to the home during our stay?

As much as we love hosting guests at Joule Stays, only registered guests in your party may be on-premise.  We are located in quiet neighbourhoods and parties of any kind are not permitted.

How do we check in, and do you have check in hours?

Check in is completely contactless with a smart lock.  Guests will be provided with their entry code on the day of arrival.  We ask guests to check in between 4pm-8pm.  Please let us know if you will be checking in outside of these hours.

Can guests check in early?

We cannot guarantee early check ins.  Due to high turnovers, our housekeeping team needs ample time to ensure the highest standards are met in our turnovers.  Upon request and if available, there is a nominal fee for early check ins.  On the day of your arrival, we can text you if the property is ready ahead of 4pm.

Do you have a charger for electric vehicles?

Yes, we have a standard outdoor outlet that guests can access.  Please bring your own charging cord.
